Productivity Tools in Healthcare and Social Care: Challenges and Opportunities
Briefing: Insights from the Digital Maturity Assessment Staff Survey
This event will explore the challenges and opportunities surrounding productivity tools in the workplace, drawing on insights from a recent study of Scottish Government/COSLA staff. We’ll discuss the impact of tools like O365, email, and calendars on employee efficiency, workload management, and overall productivity. Key themes will include:
- Barriers to Digital Adoption: Explore issues such as system accessibility, inadequate training, and compatibility challenges.
- Impact on Different Staff Groups: Understand how the experiences of medical, nursing, and office-based staff differ, and address their unique needs.
- Strategies for Improvement: How targeted training, streamlined processes, and infrastructure adjustments could help better leverage productivity tools.
Format: The presentation will feature a brief slide deck summarising key findings intended as a starting point for ongoing Q&A and discussion of specific challenges and potential solutions as a community topic on the Festival of Transformation.
